111 West 57th Street, also known as Steinway Tower, is one of the thinnest skyscrapers ever built, with a height-to-width ratio of about 24:1. Rising over 1,400 feet above Manhattan, the ultra-luxury tower was engineered to fit on an incredibly narrow plot of land while still offering massive multi-million-dollar residences overlooking Central Park. Its unique design proves just how valuable vertical real estate has become in major cities.
